The Black Community Developers Group (BCDG) is a network of Black CEO’s who makeup mission-driven, non-profit community development corporations (CDCs) from across the country.  The members are working together to pinpoint issues of racial injustice toward the Black Community throughout the United States. COVID-19 along with the killings of African American citizens like Ahmaud Aubrey, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks, and George Floyd have given critical momentum to the focus of Black lives and systemic issues such as policing, healthcare, health insurance, housing, employment, and education. The African Diaspora Group is particularly motivated to be intentional and swift in these times and is optimistic that they can affect change respectively in order to help Black communities across the United States.
